Apple has been on a mission to cut as many legacy ports as possible in order in order to realise its vision for a Wireless future. And Wireless charging fits very nicely with Apple’s ideologies.

As mentioned above, the iPhone 8 is rumoured to come with an all new 3D touch module which will come with 'additional graphite sheet lamination" to prevent the device from malfunctioning due to overheating."

Honor 8 The Review:

Honor’s custom fork of Android Marshmallow is called Emotion UI or EMUI. It actually beats MIUI of Xiaomi. Even I was shocked while using it. It features tap-on-screen to unlock with many more customizations. The UI looked extremely cool. The phone’s speaker is too loud at times and supports DTS for headphones. The dual-camera setup consists of individual 12-megapixel color and monochrome sensors. The rear sensors have an aperture of f/2.2 while the front 8-megapixel camera has an f/2.4 aperture.

Microsoft Surface Phone 2017

Despite there being no official confirmation about Microsoft Surface Phone from the Redmond-based tech giant, the device has managed to set the mobile community on fire. While Surface Phone leaks are coming in every now and then, the initial speculations about Surface Phone specs, features as well as 2017 release date have so far been very encouraging.

Microsoft Surface Phone Specs – 5.7-inch screen, Snapdragon 835 chip?

As I mentioned earlier, we’re expecting three distinct Surface Phone models. Usually, that would mean we’d expect to see three different screen sizes, but leaks thus far suggest all variants will use a 5.7-inch display.

Instead, the differences will reportedly come in the form of storage and memory upgrades, as follows:
Version 1: 3GB RAM / 32GB storage
Version 2: 6GB RAM / 128GB storage
Version 3: 8GB RAM / 500GB storage

Microsoft Surface Phone will come packing Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 835 chipset. What’s exciting about the chip is that it’s Qualcomm’s first 10nm processor, which means it’s significantly more efficient than the old 16nm Snapdragon 820. Qualcomm reckons we’ll see either 40% lower power consumption or 27% higher performance, depending on what manufacturers do with the new Snapdragon 835. If Microsoft wants to go big with the Surface Phone, it’ll need to come packing this chip.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much else about the Surface Phone in terms of hardware and camera leaks.

Huawei P10 Plus official promotional renders leak, with dual curved display

While the P10 will have a flat screen and a fingerprint sensor on the front, the P10 Plus will come with a dual-curved display and the fingerprint scanner mounted on its back, as you can see from these official images.

We expect the P10 Plus to be available in other colors too. It will sport a dual rear camera setup with Leica branding, the same as for the P10. In fact aside from the screen shape and biometric authentication sensor's position, the P10 and P10 Plus are set to be identical in terms of specs.

Both of them should have a 5.5-inch QHD panel, the Kirin 960 chipset, 4 or 6GB of RAM and 32 / 64 / 128GB of storage (depending on model), and an 8 MP selfie camera. They will run Android 7.0 Nougat from day one, with Huawei's EMUI 5.0 on top.

Apple iPhone 8 rumoured to have an OLED display with 3D iris scanning

Apple iPhone 8 could have an edge-to-edge display with bezel-less design on top and bottom. Touch ID fingerprint sensor and Front facing camera could be embedded inside the front display panel with no physical Home button key. The display is said to be a Flexible OLED screen rather than the usual LCD panel. Although there are no details whether the screen size would be increased to fit inside the iPhone casing or the construction to be shrunken to display size, however the rumours mention that it’ll be a bigger and brighter display sporting a higher contrast ratio.

The smartphone could also have an iris, facial or gesture recognition feature that could read the iris of user’s eye to unlock the smartphone or to make payments online.

Apple’s iPhone 8 will feature the IP68 rating protection as part of drastic upgrades marking the 10th anniversary of the iPhone this year

Leaked Case Images Show The Galaxy S8’s Slim Bezel Screen

Leaked case images show the Samsung Galaxy S8’s slim bezel screen, which is not a detail that hasn’t already leaked before, but it does lend further evidence to the rumors that Samsung has changed things up with the Galaxy S8 by removing the physical hardware button that sits on the front of past Galaxy devices, which served as a home button and a fingerprint sensor. In these case images, it is clearly visible that there is no physical hardware button on the front where it would normally be, and also absent is the fingerprint sensor.

The fingerprint sensor however, is situated on the back as described in past rumors and shown in past leaks. It’s visible to the right of the rear-facing camera, with the LED flash and heart rate sensor module to the left. With the cases on the phone in these images you can’t exactly make out the entirety of the phone’s design, but you can pick out the most noticeable changes to it that Samsung has seemingly made. With that said, the front of the device does also match up with a recent leak of what is said to be tempered glass screen protectors for the Galaxy S8, which also have holes for the camera, earpiece, and ambient light sensors on the front in the same spots.

Samsung Galaxy X1, X1 Plus Foldable Smartphones at MWC 2017

Samsung is long-rumoured to be working on foldable devices. It has filed multiple patents for such devices which excite us to expect some foldable smartphones sooner or later. In the recent development, we learnt that the flexible display to be used on Samsung mobile is supposed to have a mechanical hinge. The Samsung Galaxy X1 and Galaxy X1 Plus are believed to be the first commercial device from the company to feature foldable display. Now, a few reports are claiming that the Galaxy X1 and X1 Plus smartphones could get introduced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017

As per the listing, the Galaxy X1 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, whereas the Galaxy X1 Plus will receive Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box. The patent filed by Samsung indicates that the Galaxy X series smartphones will come with a flexible or secondary display.

The secondary display means when a user folds his smartphone, a secondary screen appears. According to the patent sketches, the smartphone has a bendable segment in the middle which allows users to bend and fold the device like a flip phone. Furthermore, the patent also revealed that the device will have a physical home button at front and power a volume rockers on the right side.

This Nokia 8 Video Concept Flagship Features A 23MP Camera

This video is embedded down below, and as you can see, the source has envisioned Nokia’s upcoming flagship which will be called the Nokia 8 or the Nokia P1, rumors are still kind of undecided when it comes to that. In any case, the device shown off here looks really sleek, it is made out of metal and glass it seems, and it comes with really thin side bezels.

This smartphone comes with a 2.5D curved glass on top of its display, and the phone seems well built. The phone’s frame is made out of metal, and chamfered edges are also a part of the package. This smartphone has a rather wide earpiece, and a Type-C USB port is available on the bottom of the phone, and is flanked by antenna bands. The company’s branding is placed below the phone’s display, and interestingly enough, this phone comes with a front-facing speaker, well, at least one front-facing speaker.

The designer has envisioned a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display for this smartphone, and even though the phone has rather thick bezels above and below the display, its side bezels are quite thin, and the device would probably offer a rather immersive experience if it existed, in any case, the display looks quite nice in the video. This imaginary handset packs in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The main camera on this smartphone is quite interesting, it features the ‘oreo’ design that we’ve already seen on some Nokia-branded smartphones, and according to the designer, a 22.3-megapixel camera (f/1.7 aperture, 1.8um pixel size) is included here, and so is a Carl Zeiss Lens.

Concept Images Of A Sony Xperia Edge Smartphone

New concept images have now surfaced of a Sony Xperia Edge smartphone which follows in the footsteps of manufacturers who have opted for a curved-edge AMOLED screen.

Starting off on the most notable detail, we have screen edges curved at a sharp 45-degree angle, rather than the soft slopes seen on other “edge” devices. The only thing marring the practically bezel-free view is an earpiece speaker grille up top. A 13-megapixel front camera with an iris scanner hides under the top of the display, but is invisible to the user. Around back, the same curve can be seen on the top and bottom of the device, leading down toward the front panel. Aside from the dual 23-megapixel cameras with flash and Sony logo, the back of the device is a bare surface of liquid obsidian glass, with only the large power button cutting in.
The top of the device is barren, while the bottom sports a USB Type-C port.

The whole show is supposed to be water and dust-proof, and the tight rim running the circumference of the device looks like it does a fine job of that. Metal construction with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back panels promise serious style and strength. Under the hood, this concept bears a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, alongside 6 gigabytes of RAM.

Best Android Camera

The Google Pixel is still our favorite phone for taking photos, but we've replaced the OnePlus 3 with its venerable (and slightly improved) successor, the OnePlus 3T.

Google's new Pixel phone comes out on top when you look at photo quality, overall performance and simplicity of shooting. Interestingly, it does it with what would normally be considered middle-of-the-road camera specs. You get a 12MP sensor and f/2.0 lens without the support OIS (optical image stabilization),

It also has a simple camera interface that doesn't have a ton of features, but makes up for it in terms of overall quality. Just point and shoot, and you're going to get a great photo every single time. Daylight shots are crisp and bright with just the right amount of extra saturation, and low-light shots are surprisingly smooth and lack the extra noise that other phones often introduce

Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 back in March 2016, and until the Pixel arrived it was the best camera out there. The 12MP resolution gives you plenty of pixels to work with, and the OIS keeps everything clear whether you're taking low-light shots or shooting video on the move.

Just as important as the photo output is how quickly the camera operates. Two presses of the home button launch the camera in less than a second, and photos are taken instantaneously even when shooting in HDR or a tough lighting situation. The camera interface is simple but also powerful if you choose to move to the full Manual mode, which can enable great shots if you want to tweak and use a tripod.

The new LG V20 borrows the same dual-camera setup from the LG G5, but that's not a bad thing. The main 16MP rear camera is capable of taking crisp, well-balanced shots with the support of a bright f/1.8 lens and OIS. Where the V20 looks to stand out is its second rear camera, which is an 8MP sensor with a super wide-angle lens. The wide-angle shooter can be toggled to quickly for awesome and unique shots you don't get on other phones, though the sensor itself is unfortunately just not as good as the main 16MP offering.

Its camera interface isn't quite as simple or fast as Samsung's, but it's not far off. And what you give up in simplicity you gain in manual controls and tweaks.

Everyone wants a great camera in their smartphone, but not everyone can spend the kind of money it takes to get a Galaxy S7 or LG V20. For a much more reasonable $439, the OnePlus 3T has a really solid shooter that's better than the price would suggest. When we compared the OnePlus 3T's camera to the Google Pixel's, we were impressed every time with the results.

You get plenty of resolution here at 16MP, but smaller 1.12-micron pixels that aren't as great in low-light scenes — though the inclusion of a relatively quick f/2.0 lens and OIS help, as does the camera app's HDR processing. The camera app isn't great and can still be a little slow, and you don't get full manual controls, but for a camera that can get the job done and won't break the bank, this is a great choice.

NOKIA P1 New Flagship Is Finally Here With 6GB RAM a 256GB ROM and 22.3 MP Camera

Nokia has finally announced its first 2017 Android phone, which marks its return to the mainstream mobile market. This one’s available now, but only in China. Fortunately, there are more new Nokia Android phones to come (starting at MWC 2017) that will be sold in other regions. For example, Qualcomm was rumoured to have shown the upcoming Nokia 8 at CES, while a slimmed-down Nokia Heart and flagship Nokia P1 are rumoured for MWC. This Nokia 6 is merely a taster. Here’s what you need to know about the Nokia Android phone release date, price and specifications.

Once the biggest and best-known mobile phone manufacturer, following some tough competition from iPhone and Android Nokia in 2011 made the fatal mistake of agreeing to produce only Windows phones. In 2014 it packed up its mobile phone game and sold its business to Microsoft. Fast-forward to 2017, and with Android onboard, this could be the Nokia comeback we’ve been waiting for.

Wallpaper Wednesday:

This week am  focusing our attention on five summer-themed backgrounds. All images are available in a FHD resolution, which is a perfect fit for the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note 5 and other flagships, but they can, of course, be used on different smartphones too.

New leak of the Moto G5 Plus reveals 5.2-inch screen, 12MP camera, and NFC

the protective plastic on the handset’s display gives away a few more features like the smaller, 5.2 screen, 12MP “Rapid Focus Camera, Fingerprint reader + NFC, and the TurboPower-compatible 3,000mAh battery. The plastic film also calls the phone Moto $$, these are placeholders for the name of the device.

The first thing many noticed was the new shape of the fingerprint sensor and how it is dissimilar to the square-shaped one found on the Moto Z family.

Confusion also surrounded many who wondered why a supposed Moto G5 Plus wouldn’t measure 5.5 inches diagonally in its display. The reason for that is the Moto Z Play is already running the Snapdragon 625 with a 5.5-inch screen and is compatible with Moto Mods. So it would not make much sense to release two devices with identical specifications as Motorola would end up competing with itself.

Apple Airpods review: Great Audio

The Apple Airpods are as the name suggest earpods that stream music from your iPhone or iPad and let you control that device to a certain extent with voice controls.

What is good?

Apple Airpods might be the pinnacle of wireless technology, but for me they will be a pair of great earphones first. In fact, I would not have really cared if the audio quality was a notch below where it is now for the sake of cutting edge technology. However, this is Apple and they clearly don’t believe in doing anything in half measure. So these wireless Airpods are as good as anything that you can buy at this price range when it comes to audio accessories. It offers a perfect mix of bass and rich notes and all music feels good on it.

The Airpods also offer great audio quality and you can easily take a call with a tap. They cut off ambient noise to make conversations better. The fact that this has the mic dropping down towards your mouth makes the sound clearer for the other side.

The battery life is pretty neat and close to five hours for a single charge. And the you always have the case to recharge the pods on the go.

What is not that good?

We spoke about the design and how the Airpods stayed on. However, I have an issue wearing these where I am more visible. The one day I ventured out to a public park, there were stares and muted comments. In contrast to other products like Samsung’s Icon X, the Airpods to stick out and cry for attention.

Moto G5 Sale Date Leaked:

iPhone 8 Next Gen Features:

Energous has developed a simplified version of its WattUp wireless power transmission system, and this could be heading to the iPhone 8. If this is the case then not only will wireless charging appear in the iPhone 8, but it will be delivered at a longer range than any previous example of the technology.

In order to facilitate this wireless charging feature, Apple will fundamentally alter the way that the iPhone 8 is constructed. Central to this will be the introduction of a glass back to the smartphone.
It is also likely expected that Apple will remove the Home button from the device, replacing it with a screen-based feature. This will enable Apple to reduce the size of the iPhone 8, while still retaining the same screen size, and even including the largest ever display in the iPhone range if rumors of a third model come to fruition. But more on that later.

In accordance with this suggestion, it is also expected that Apple will really slim down the bezels of the iPhone 8, and that the device may benefit from an edge-to-edge display. It is also expected that Apple will introduce curved screen technology with the iPhone 8, with this having been patented previously.

And a new speaker design will ensure that this is the slimmest iPhone ever. Producing ever more wafer-thinner devices has been a particular focus for Apple, and the iPhone 8 is set to impress in this department.
OLED will finally be introduced into the display of the iPhone 8 as well, while the resolution of the smartphone series is set to be bumped up.

Recent rumors have also suggested that a laser sensor will be included for gesture recognition, and that this will have practical benefits in security, while also delivering new functionality.

Apple will also embrace virtual reality when the iPhone 8 is released, with the technology becoming increasingly important in the consumer electronics marketplace.

Apple iOS 10.3 release packed full of new features :

iOS 10.3

Apple iOS 10.3 is a big release packed full of new features

Buried in the settings of iOS 10.3 is the ability for Verizon customers to make WiFi calls. Discovered by MacRumors, simply navigate to Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices and toggle it on. This brings Verizon customers parity with iPhone owners on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile who have had access to WiFi calling for some time.

What is Wi-Fi Calling ?

With Wi-Fi Calling, you can talk and text over Wi-Fi when cellular coverage is limited or unavailable. For example, some indoor locations may be difficult for even a strong cellular signal to reach. Now, with a Wi-Fi connection, you can talk and text in those hard-to-reach places. Wi-Fi Calling is available on compatible devices to use within the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Xiaomi Mi 5c fits Snapdragon 625 inside a premium body:

The 5c has a metal back like the 5s, but without the brushed finish. The phone still looks mightily attractive and will cost less than the already very affordable flags

You get a power-efficient 14nm Snapdragon 625 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage, running MIUI 8 out of the box (the base Android version is unclear). The battery capacity wasn’t specified, but if it stays at 3,200mAh, we can expect solid battery life. The camera department promises 12MP shots from the main camera and 8MP selfies, though the image quality will depend on what sensors Xiaomi uses

The Xiaomi Mi 5c is expected to launch ahead of the upcoming Mi 6 flagship, which should arrive around March Or April. Pricing is unclear, but a Mi 5s with 3GB/64GB is just over €300 and the older Mi 5 (3GB/32GB) is €250 (old but gold with its powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset).

Nokia's Next Smartphone shouble be Annouced on February 26

The phone is said to feature Snapdragon 835 but that may not be the case, becasue Samsung seems to be getting the sole initial supply of Snapdragon 835, at least according to this report. This is why LG G6 could end up with last year's Snapdragon 821 and even the Xiaomi Mi6 is said to come with an underclocked version of Snapdragon 835. At this moment it's early to say for sure what's going to be the case. Apart from a powerful chip inside, the New Nokia P1 flagship is said to feature a 2K display and IP57 dust resistance. There have been a lot of other good things being said about the Nokia 8/P1 model like Sharp IGZo 2K display.

Finally it's happen save the Date, February 26 2017.

Galaxy S8 The first Bad News

The renders match exactly with the prototype leak and show Samsung has not only moved the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone, but placed it high up to the right side of the camera. These are decisions which make no sense.

Instead the schematics show Samsung has positioned the sensor at the top right of the phone beside the camera and this results in three key mistakes

Firstly being higher up means it is harder to reach which will affect anyone with smaller hands, such as - well - all women! Secondly placing it to the right side may make it easier to use right handed, but harder to use if you are left handed or if you simply need to unlock your phone with your other hand. It happens. Thirdly the position means you’re going to accidentally put your fingers on the camera lens a lot. This will build up grease and dirt in the last place where you want it.

The good news is the Galaxy S8’s larger display, slick design and inevitably upgraded camera mean it will probably still be a massive success. But it remains frustrating to see Samsung get such a basic yet integral part of this phone badly wrong.

Apple iPhone 8 Official Leaks That Sound's To Be True

iPhone 8 is expected to come with the increased screen size to 5'' from the 4.7'' in iPhone 7. Apple is also supposed to implement Full HD Display in the upcoming iPhone.

The most talked rumor is about its Curved Display. Apple is not known for providing that many major updations over its previous generation phone. So we don't think that iPhone 8 will carry Curved Display.
The iPhone 8 plus screen size is expected to be the same as the one in iPhone 7 plus but there will be a bump in the screen resolution that will lead to high and better pixel per inch due to the new next generation LED Display panel.

The Protection of the screen is also expected to see an upgradation, and iPhone 8 will feature oleophobic coating V2.0 which is not officially named yet but it is an improved version of oleophobic coating.

iPhone 8 will feature Dual Lens Camera which was not there in iPhone 7 that was a downside to many people. Adding Dual Lens to the smaller variant will be a welcome feature. Like in iPhone 7, iPhone 8 is also expected to have Camera Bump. The primary camera of iPhone 8 is supposed to be 13 MP lens with f/1.7. The smartphone's specifications were revealed by a recent AnTuTu benchmark listing that showed that the Nokia D1C might use the Snapdragon 430 processor teamed up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 128GB using a micro SD card. The device is likely to boast a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p IPS display.
